Mon 11 - Fri 15 August 2008 - The Science of Your Summer Holiday
Discover some fascinating facts about things related to your summer
holidays. How do tents keep out water? How do sun creams work? These
questions and more will be answered in our hands-on sessions.

Mon 18 - Fri 22 August 2008 - Super Cool Science Show
An explosive, interactive demonstration of weird and wonderful science
experiments using liquid nitrogen. A super cool show for all the family!

Bank Hol Mon 25 - Fri 29 August 2008 - Plastic Fantastic
Learn all about the properties of thermoplastics in our new workshop. Melt
some special granules then mould and decorate a plastic gift to take home.

OCTOBER HALF TERM
Mon 27 - Fri 31 October 2008 - The Spooky Science Show
Follow the ghostly trail around the galleries then discover how to make
swamp fog and how to make slime in our Spooky Science Show presented by our
very own Dracula!

All the above events cost £1 per person when paying full admission to
Catalyst, but tickets are limited and are allocated on a first come - first
served basis. Groups paying reduced admission rate will need to book and pay
for a separate workshop just for their group - please ring for prices and
availability.
